Just got home from de airport.. sent my parents off for their honeymoon to Korea =p *sweeet*

Kinda miss them already…. :/ Tho its just a short holiday, de feeling is quite sore in fact. Even bidding goodbye makes one heart ache =( But they def will enjoy themselves to de fullest! heh.

The month of Feb pass so fast, its scary! With the holidays… and celebrations…. March will come as a mundane month for me

Cant wait for Mum & Dad to be home again. Miss their presence v much.. the lively house will be sooooo quiet for 1 week.. *cries* 

Lord Jesus, send your angels over to protect us from all harms and danger. Keep us close to You always. We thank you and praise you Lord Jesus for watching over us. Let us feel your presence in our hearts. Amen.

Settling down..

Been a month at my new workplace. Things are getting more stable… or rather, im adapting myself to this new envt le…

Over here, it forced me to grow out of my comfort zone .. to talk to big shots.. to put aside my inferiority and speak with confidence… and very importantly, to be independent! I can only depend on myself as no one really bothers bout your survival. In this fast paced & competitive envt, newbies are most likely to be neglected =( I had my own fair share of scoldings & sarcasm (just within my first week)! Super demoralising….. but i guess it only makes one stronger? Its the place where only de stronger ones survive eh

Thankfully, ive been able to leave office at quite reasonable timing.. at least de sky hasnt turn dark yet.. hee *cross fingers* & im gonna grow horizontally overtime too.. my colleagues erm, enjoy life to de fullest! The 2hrs lunch time is fully utilised – usual lunch –> coffee –> cakes! How not to grow fat? sob. *cries*

Hmm, when my credit reviews are more or less settled, i’ll have more time n commitment to meet up wif de gals!  (Sorry babes..!) So many stuffs i wanna do.. Hope i’ll be able to “free” some time for cooking this week. Been quite awhile since i touched pots & pans! =p

Managed to import all posts from blogspot… so, it looks as if this wordpress has been ard for v long? Its only 1 day old! hehe.

Sleeping Saturday

I slept the whole of my Saturday… im leading a pig lifestlye v v soon! Shag.. cust’s appt & co’s dinner took up lots of my time..

Supposed to meet up with E, but he left his hp @ de bar de nite before.. meaning to say, he was hp-less and as such, we couldnt make any plans ahead! lol. He and his alcohol…. keke….

By de time i woke up, it was already near 5pm. (yes, i was tat tired… hehe…)

Wen out for short dinner, & im back to home sweet home =) Bought mummy’s present, hope she’s gonna like it! Tmr will be birthday dinner with the family! *smiles* & im turning 23 next month! How’s it gonna be like? Hmm.. i tink its gonna be spend in office just like V-day! :/

Looking back..

I missed the grp of peeps i knew from my attachment @ this shitty co (it really is..). Many have been bz working/ dating/ schooling.. (including me.. lol). Knew them 4yrs back.. & they are still de same – full of crap & always teasing me

As i look at the past testimonials on Friendster, it dawn on me tat yah, we always have our lunch cum smoking session in front of this stall called “ah boon cake & bread shop”. If not for Stef’s testimonial…. we wld prolly hav forgotten de good old days there? Work was shit… (yes, it is)… but de gr8 company made up for it!

The start of 2008 hasnt been really good.. other than work (shits), ive been feeling extremely emo these days as well. weird.

Somehow or rather, im dreaming of studying/ working overseas.. – this is so unlike me as well! im one who detest changes & dislike adapting to new envt.. and nvr fails to tell my frens im def not gg overseas to get my degree or wadsoever.

I guess this thought of going overseas will only be temporary… cos i usually wanna go overseas/ get out of SG only wen im feeling super emo! lol~

Growing up is a long and arduous journey, trying to figure out wads right and wrong, wads good and bad. Im still trying to understand the world, building my principles, and being certain of wad I wan in life…

Right now, im still lost. *sigh*

CNY Eve…

Gosh, im feeling so tired when its only 7pm. Shucks..

Didnt reali had to work today… boss merely said a few words, shake hands blah blah, distribute red packets, took some photos, den… tadah, he let us off liao! *speechless* Totally unexpected, esp for newbies like us =p

It was only 10am…. and being CNY eve, most of de shops are closed! Oh well, i’d a cup of coffee, reading the papers.. enjoying the morning away.. hehe :p Met June for lunchie, den headed to run some errands for mummy

Just finished dinner preparation & house cleaning (it feels gd!)… so im here blogging, while waiting for dinner to begin. hehe. Yeah, reunion dinner is always at my place Reason being… my aunties & uncles dont like the cooking process & washing process thereafter. (Shit rite???)

They are gonna arrive late…. so my poor tummy have to suffice wif water for now! boohoo.

Not really excited bout CNY this yr (which is quite weird)… im just looking fwd cos its a pretty long holiday so – i can rest my mind & recharge for work next week! (i badly need it.. :/)

Seeing her simply brings back office memories. & i know i miss her very much. Its hard to find someone who is equivalent to a colleague cum friend cum soulmate, who knows wad you’re tinkin, knows how you’re feeling, without u saying it. & always there for u, be it physically or mentally..

Culture @ my new place is very different. Here, pple are more individualistic and needless to say, not v friendly.

CNY is near de corner, but im not de least excited. & then, there’s V-Day coming along.. my 6th sense tells me im gonna spend V-day in office, wif stacks of papers accompanying me! haha. perhaps its better than me walking down de street & see lovey-dovey couples?? haha.

I hope its just one of de days where im feeling a tad more emotional… *cries*
