“Thursday Night Fever”

The sleep wasnt v good. Woke up with my left eye… sore. Its as if ive a red eye ball now =/

… 

After de over dosage of panadols many yrs back, i hav since stopped consuming them …

Today was… kinda exceptional tho.

Head was v heavy. Didnt do much work, v unproductive. Due to the giddiness, i sat at my seat most of de time. Body felt so hot. Tried to rest on n off. Was merely counting down to knockoff time.

The distance to de station was such a dread. It suddenly seem so faarrrr away. Ended up taking a cab home. Wen to search for thermometer. Pop down panadols. Last resort.

Then felt so dumb dumb to misread the temperature. Saw “36.3″, but it was upside down… i.e. was actually “39.3″.

Heard de “jab in de butt” is de best medicine for fever.. ahh.. the thought of it is so scary alr. i am dreading de upcoming blood test… so no needles for me now.

Praying for de fever to subside… its de wkend, i dont wanna stay home (!) :/

Had a chat with bro earlier. Reali glat tat he’s looking much much happier…. things will get better boy! *smiles*

Alrite, bedtime. Have a gr8 wkend y’all ;p

P.S Just realise parents hav to attend to sth this wkend… i.e. ECP outing will be postponed, sian 1/2.

Earlier, while surfing the net on Cambodia, chanced upon this section on volunteering work. Wonder if its open for tourists as well…

Hopefully, i get a positive reply from them … den i can convince sis to go there as well *smiles*

Sth bout their customs -

If a person does not wake up before sunrise, he is lazy; you have to tell your parents/ elders where you are going and what time you are coming back home; close doors gently, otherwise you have a bad temper; sit with your legs straight down and not crossed (crossing your legs shows tat you are an impolite person); and always let others talk more than you.

Hehe, interesting. Lookin fwd to more insights.. :p

Lazy Sunday

Didnt felt very well this morning, so i spend most of de time in bed, skipping lunch :/

Since it was Sunday, i tout i had better spend some time with them since the weekdays are so hard to..

So dinner was with parents + sis @ Ichiban, Parkway. It was entertaining to hear them talk bout the highlights of their trip and looking at the lovely photos over dinner :p

Cabbed home after a short stint @ Borders.

Unwinding..

Its 2am and i cant seem to fall asleep, so here i am……. again, lol.

Parents are finally back, so the house is not tat quiet anymore ;p It must have been a good trip for them, cos they took erh.. 500 photos…. and happiness cld be seen in their faces! *smiles*

Tried to make sth for them at de last min- peanut cookie (one batch with chocolate chip, one w/out). I didnt really like de end result tho… it was done quite in a rush :/ But as long as Dad likes it, its good enough! *grin*

Parents wen to grandma’s plc since de kids all had plans, heh.

Met bro on my way out… saw sth not v pleasant…. :/

with all de recent break ups happening ard, it felt reali demoralising…. nothing last forever?

everythg happens for a reason?

…. oh well.

Despite being in shorts n slippers earlier, i stepped into The Lounge @ Hotel Intercontinental…. feeling super undressed def.

Nevertheless, it was de company tat counts?

The comfy sofa, accompanied with a great pianist and vocalist, it ended Saturday quite peacefully =)

Was there initially to past time tho..

The title explains how im feelin now. both mentally n physically. worn out Tmr’s Friday… finally.

Been trying to get home as early as possible this week. there’s a funeral procession at my blk. and the path back home can be quite scary as it gets later at nite :/

Looking at the heartbroken look on all their faces, triggers one’s emotions. Even a stranger feels for them…

Got home, stared at de amount of housework to be done……

-wash clothes

-hang clothes

-fold clothes

-vacuum/ mop

-wash dishes

…. and den for some (unknown) reason, i got scolded for some thing which i felt so ignorant of… sigh! Makes me feel like a pest at home now, argg.

Today, amidst de busy day at work, it was nice to receive such sms once in awhile..

“Sent an angel to watch over u, but it came back. I asked why, and it said angels don’t watch over angels. i scolded her, cos you are more than an angel”.

it def liven up my spirits, indeed.

Yest was terrible and i wanted to blog bout it. oh well, since yest is alr over.. i’d rather not go into details and enter de whole emotional cycle again. Its been bad enough .. :/
